Inverted
Triangle
        Shape

If you are inverted triangle you have a larger top half than bottom half, which is the reverse of the pear shape. Inverted triangles have broad shoulder with proportionally narrow hips. You are the busty queen. Fitted or body-skimming clothes are great for your figure. Add volume to your lower body with the right skirts, trousers and dresses.

Tips for your body shape:

1. Tops: V-necks and deep round fitted tops will make your torso appear slimmer and longer. Keep your look simple and understated. Three-quarter length sleeves will draw attention down towards your waist. Keep details to a minimum on jackets and tops. Shawl collars with flatter the line of your shoulders, and jackets that flare at the hem will give you silhouette balance.

2. Bottoms: A tulip skirt at knee height ads volume to your lower half to balance you. Also, a-line skirts add weight to your hips. You need to draw attention downwards so wear brighter, thicker fabrics on your bottom half. Create the illusion of larger hips with pockets, buttons or other details.

3. Dresses: Scoop or v-neck style tops. If you have a small waist work on giving emphasis to it. If you do not, an empire line cut works well. Strapless is so in… and it will look gorgeous on you.

4. Jeans: Hipster jeans will enhance your waistline. Boot-cut or wide-leg pants balance out the upper half. Utility jeans give you balance. Strategically placed washes or embellishments in the front and back pockets areas will attract attention to your hips. Lighter washes or fades along the legs and knees will add shape to thighs. Pockets will create a fuller thigh and balance out your top half.

5. Shoes and Accessories: Chunkier heels like peep-toes or t-bar platforms are
a definitely yes! Leather wrap belts give you a great hourglass look.
